1993: Licenciatura (Diplom) an der Universidad de Buenos Aires; Diplomarbeit: Análisis Morfométrico de las Especies Argentinas de la Familia Percichthyidae (Osteichthyes, Perciformes). (morphometrische Analyse der argentinischen Arten der Familie Percichthyidae [Osteichthyes, Perciformes]).

1999: Promotion an der Universidad de Buenos Aires: Estudio taxonómico de los percíctidos (Osteichthyes: Perciformes) actuales de Argentina (Taxonomische Untersuchung der rezenten Percichthyiden (Osteichthyes: Perciformes) Argentiniens).

1999-2000: Postdoc am Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin

2000-2002: Postdoc an der Universidad de Buenos Aires

2002-2003: ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiterin am Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio in Trelew, Argentinien (während Mutterschaftsauszeit).

2003-2004: ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiterin am Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin (während Mutterschaftsauszeit)
